Meet Cindy

Cindy Bostick
Cindy Bostick, MS, FAAGC

Like many of you, I have the personal experience of losing loved ones. Over a several year period, I lost both of my parents, my sister, and my husband, and my mission is to support others as they move forward in rebuilding their lives.  It is possible! Each person will have his or her own unique experience in this process. Families in our communities are grieving and tragically, many don’t understand what happens to our brains and bodies and how to navigate this incredibly challenging process.  Our Western culture doesn’t prepare us well for death, dying and bereavement, yet we know that 100% of us will one day die. Our responsibility is to be honest about our mortality and LIVE until God calls us home – even in the midst of losing a precious loved one…

During the pandemic, it was a challenge to connect safely in person to comfort and encourage each other, so in early 2021, I initiated an online forum for bereaved adults to meet, receive and offer emotional support, and learn more about the grieving process, including the important TASKS involved in moving forward while honoring deceased loved ones.

I am a current member of ADEC, the Association for Death Education and Counseling. For the past 15 years, I have facilitated workshops and coached individuals on goal setting, transitions and transformation both online and in person. My Master of Science degree is in Studies of Human Behavior and my Bachelor of Science degree is in Business.  I am a certified Fellow in Grief Counseling (FAAGC) with the American Academy of Grief Counseling at the American Institute of Health Care Professionals (AIHCP), and I welcome the opportunity to connect with you in a way that will be helpful and healing. Please contact me at Bostickcindy@gmail.com if you’d like to learn more about my LIFE, LOVE and LOSS workshops, support groups, or individual counseling. Be well.
